Jason told me that I was the most beautiful girl in town. I was thrilled. I warmed upto him instantly. The day passed by. I was feeling light, I was dancing the quickstep -my favourite on 7th. heaven. As the day wore on, I felt almost a foot taller, and my cheeks flushed red. What? I thought Jason liked most in my pretty face. Perhaps my lips? Maybe my eyes? Uncle Jim had always teased me about my dove eyes.
Not long after, it was Omar, the lean mean macho man-machine in class who seemed to take extra delight in getting caught out staring at me. Wow! now what? Was it my lips again? I couldn't be too sure. The angle was difficult to guage. My heart almost jumped out of its moorings when Omar approached me at break-time. " Darling, you look smashing, hope to catch you up after lectures". I couldn't breath. Had Mike and Nora overheard? Jason, that sissy was banished to the back-burner -- for now.
The economies of scale and its intricacies were on at full scale. All I could think of was Omar's economies of scale. Mmm this was bliss. How long for breaks again? Just then Bruna in front of me had to take out that horror - her mirror. I tried desperately to look away, but I was drawn transfixed to that castle killer. There in Bruna's posh larger than life mirror was me - Goose pimples, rabit teeth, 16" thick glasses and orange shaped monster of a nose. Heavens! why now? This horrible mirror........................................
